In light of PGH’s other brickmaking facilities being located in areas zoned for high-order employment, industrial or residential development and the objective to improve operational efficiencies across the business, PGH is looking to consolidate its brickmaking and quarry operations at Bringelly. This latest modification application proposes:

  • To construct a modernised, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
  • To increase approved manufacturing capacity from 263,500 tonnes per annum to 330,000 tonnes per annum (approximately 25% increase)
  • To complete necessary infrastructure upgrades to facilitate production and quarry activities – including internal roads and pathways, stormwater, sewer
  • To protect approximately two hectares of vegetation on the quarry as a biodiversity zone.
